(Except acorns, it is totally fine to avoid those whenever possible. Seriously, they bother me.)

I am an emotional and enthusiastic person, so here there will be feelings! Mostly good feelings, but awkwardly expressed. That is just how I do things.

Also, just to clarify, because it may seem that timelines are conflicting here—all this business is happening right at the start of Act 2. No major Act 2 plotlines have been initiated from Garrett’s angle. He’s, like, still running around talking to Aveline or whatever, without any idea of what’s going on here.

So much of this is pure poetry, sentences and lines that will stay with me, passages that I welcome to stay with me.

“He is motion. He is action. He is struggle and fight.”

“He is the Tower of Ishal, the righteous fury of life and struggle; he is the Blight incarnate; he is Bethany’s blood on his mother’s hands.”

There is so much hurt and violence, and it is not pretty, but it is so very cathartic. I needed this almost as much as Carver did, I think.
