Face your daylight horrors!

Get up and watch the sunrise, feed the beast within, then face your daylight horrors.
(Except acorns, it is totally fine to avoid those whenever possible. Seriously, they bother me.)

I am an emotional and enthusiastic person, so here there will be feelings! Mostly good feelings, but awkwardly expressed. That is just how I do things.

  • Brackenreid: I don't see how this bloody posh accent is going to make me a man of the people!

  • George: Millions of years ago. Boggles the mind just to think about it, doesn't it, sir?
  • William: Certainly does.
  • George: I mean, my aunt believes that the world is 6,000 years old. Based on the Bible, of course.
  • William: Well, she would be a literalist. Their views bring them into direct conflict with men who believe in the evolutionary development of the world.
  • George: Mm. She believes that the world was made in six days, and that's an end on it. Myself I take a bit more of a scientific perspective.
  • William: Oh?
  • George: I do, but I don't think the two schools of thought need be exclusive. I mean, what if in the distant, distant past, each rotation of the Earth took millions of years.
  • William: Well--
  • George: Or, from a biblical viewpoint, what if God paused for millions of years between each day? I mean, Genesis doesn't say anything about consecutive days.
  • William: George--
  • George: Or better yet, what if one day in heaven is a few millions years here on Earth? Maybe that's why God hasn't made himself apparent to us in so long. It's still the seventh day. He's still resting. But maybe tomorrow the eighth day will begin, and he'll create something entirely new. Something just as important as land or water.
  • William: Such as?
  • George: A horse that could run backwards. I mean, think about it. You would never need to turn around.

I give up. I have to watch that thing or those things with that Loki fellow. Tumblr, this is your fault. Also the fault of this awesome action figure. I want that one. I would sculpt him his eight-legged horsie baby to keep him company. 200+ dollar for an action figure sounds is expensive, but considering my model horse habit, I have no room to pass judgement. Also look at it. So worth it. I want to get that good at sculpting people someday. I mean, horses really is my thing, but I want to become versatile. Also: less money in only sculpting horses, and more money = more horsies.

So I might be wildly irresponsible with money. I think I am supposed to feel bad about this. Perhaps I would, if not for the next available Murdoch Mysteries DVD’s, because life priorities. Murdoch first, shame later.

The murders of Egyptian collectors continued. And it seemed certain there was some connection to the missing mummy. We had discovered a hieroglyphic journal next to one victim. After many hours pouring over tomes of Egyptian lore, we’d almost managed to translate the picographical code into the Queen’s English.

Oh my goodness, it is Murdoch Mysteries fanart. Day, suddenly even more amazing. This is so amazing!

The TV-series is amazing, and the books are even more amazing, and now I want to marathon it all once more. Who is with me!

Top-5 female fictional characters
combination-nc combination-nc Said:

A few of these keep changing a bit, because I have so very many! So sometimes they switch places with other characters so that they all get loved properly. But right at this moment, they are:

1. Jill, from Katherine Kerr’s Deverry series

2. Amy Slade, from Maureen Jennings’ Murdoch Mysteries

3. Lain, from Serial Experiments Lain

4. Morrigan, from Dragon Age (For so many reasons, oh my goodness)

5. Lyon, from Suikoden V

Aah, it is hard. I do so adore Flemeth, and Thora, my first Warden (it would be weird to put her on the list, but she means a lot to me), and so so so many others! But well yes, here are five of them.
