Oh my goodness, this is so cute! They are always so cute when you draw them like this, but I think they are especially cute here, the colours so soft and warm and everything so fluffy. And there is even a little elephant on a card, aah..! Of course I do not mind, I adore this, thank you so much!

After writing sad sad fics, Karl is the best remedy. He really is just the best here! Anders is so incredibly adorable, but Karl… oh, Karl is good for the heart in a whole different way. This is so so cute!

Yes! This is a perfect thing. This is what will happen..! (That is right, Varric, get them on the Champion’s side young!) Anders would probably think that a cat bus is not nearly enough, story needs more kittens! And hang over Varric’s shoulder and try to be helpful about what is cute and not. Not sure how Varric would feel about that though..

Splendid decision! It really does look like a children’s story that Varric would publish, making all his friends into cute creatures. It makes so much sense that Hawke would be big, Varric has been writing him with gravy all over his face after all! ”Did you just call me fat”, Hawke asked then, and I think that perhaps then Varric got this idea in his head. This adorable idea. They are making the best faces!
Dragon Age Custom Die Challenge: Anders and Aveline under the same blanket.
Aivopesty introduced me a great way to get (random) drawing ideas. She has a jar full of papers with different scenes and a custom die with 12 sides. You pick a scene from the jar and roll the die for the characters from Dragon Age.
This time I got to draw Anders and Aveline under the same blanket. Anders is obviously very pleased with his new blanket.

It really is such a great way to get drawing ideas! Fun, fun drawing ideas. I am so very, very tempted to make myself a writing die like that, to get back into my writing spirit again (perhaps when my workload has lessened), because I imagine that the outcome of such a thing would be hilarious.
This drawing is awesome. Aveline is right; it really is… very him (possibly too much him for her taste). The way she looks away from him and at the blanket, wait okay actually, her entire face is kind of the best part. And his face. Alright perhaps everything is kind of the best thing here. I want to reach out and scratch his stubble, for some reason..
hey dear combination-nc, remember last time I said I want to bake you a sweet roll with pattern of karl and elephant on it? I let young anders do that for me :D
