I am an emotional and enthusiastic person, so here there will be feelings! Mostly good feelings, but awkwardly expressed. That is just how I do things.

It was rare Sebastian didn’t turn to greet them, unfailingly polite in even the most unorthodox situations. But this once, apparently he hadn’t noticed their approach.
Hawke had a sudden violent desire to find all his old etiquette instructors and beat them, because if he’d just be rude, just a tiny bit, every once in a while, that profile would be on display more often.
Sebastian might frustrate me, but that profile? Oh, that profile. That nose.
Anders, Karl, Sebastian. You would not dare!“Hawke. Thank you for coming,” Anders said quietly as they met in the shadows near the chantry doors. “I haven’t seen any sign of Karl – nor of templars. I don’t know whether or not to take that as a good sign.”
The mage looked even tireder than he had when Hawke had first met him in his Darktown clinic earlier that day, and he’d seemed on the verge of collapse then. Hawke wondered if he’d rested at all since then; she doubted it. He seemed the sort to push himself, even well beyond when most others would have given up, or broken down. “Was there any specific place inside you were to meet him? It’s a big place,” she pointed out.
“One of the side chapels,” Anders said quietly. “Maker, I hope he made it safely… he claimed he could get out without my help..” He swayed a moment, then took a deep breath and drew himself upright. “Well, standing around out here doesn’t accomplish anything,” he pointed out, and turned toward the doors, taking a step forward.

I tried to draw Hawke and all the possible companions (+ Karl) in that cartoonish style… even Sebastian is there, since it’s his week and all. I’m not yet happy with some of them; gotta do justice to poor Isabela. But I like how Merrill turned out.
PS: Carver, I can’t stand you - like - at all. And I will most certainly never ever draw you again. But hey, I guess the feeling is mutual. Isn’t it? ISN’T IT!? Yeah, I knew it.
Kaaaarl! There are times when I just want to hug a picture close and this is one of those because how charming is this? Well, charming enough to want to hug, obviously! Merrill is so incredibly precious, I want to squish her cheeks. How is someone so dangerous so adorable?
I adore the little details you put in these that makes them all so very them; the tired lines under Anders’ eyes, Fenris’ deeply unamused eyebrows, the stunningly accurate interpretation of Carver’s entire face…
Hey, I like Carver, but I need to keep this sibling rivalry thing going, okay! Teasing is a vital part. I wish the game had a serious “tease Carver”-command, so I could pinch his cheeks and go hey lil’ bro, time for an adventure, who is excited! every ten steps or so and things like that. Then this whole one million points of rivalry thing would make so much more sense.
